H.W. Farren Co. has been a leader in the oversize and overweight transportation services for over a decade. We have worked with customers to design, manufacture, and operate specialized equipment to transport specialized cargo.
In 1991, H.W. Farren transported a 160 ton stator and its components in a combination of specialized transport and rail movements from the PSE&G Newark Generating Station to General Electric in the Pacific Northwest for modification on a hydroelectric project.
Starting in 1995, have manufactured trailers and equipment to transport the Black Hawk helicopters for transport between their assembly origins and final destinations.
In 1997 we were invited to help design and develop the trailer that transports the S-92 and H-92 helicopters and airframes for Sikorsky Aircraft.
Our heavy haul fleet consists of three and four axle trailers, jeeps, and tag axles, in step deck, double drop stretch, and heavy duty low boy configurations.
We operate heavy haul equipment with 8 and 10 axle configurations on a regular basis, and are specialists in the transportation of large injection and blow mold presses in support of the automotive and aerospace industry.
